Im’s works explore an extended interpretation of wabi-sabi (侘び寂び); impermanence and transience through different use of medium of (analogue & digital) drawings, essays, models, photography, and etc. Im’s interest in imperfectness of architecture and space allows to discover the psyche of the built and physical environment, thus attempts to stand up for the integrity of a society, a building, and ultimately a human-being.
Im is currently studying for the undergraduate course at the Architectural Association school of Architecture (AAschool) in London. Im has been mentored by Nichola Barrington-Leach and Caroline Pepper (2023-2024), and currently by Jenny Hill, Paolo Emilio Pisano, and Francesco Zuddas (2024-2025).
